Hot Poured Rubber for Sawed Joints

Estimate sealant weight from data-sheet lb/gal and joint dimensions.

Uses the sample method: 1 gallon = 0.13368 cf, then convert to lb/cf and multiply by joint volume per foot.

Defaults match the sample sheet: 9.2 lb/gal, 1 in wide, 1/4 in deep.

Density (lb/cf) = (lb/gal) / 0.13368.
Joint volume per foot (cf/ft) = (Width(in) × Depth(in) × 12 in/ft) / 1728 = Width × Depth / 144.
Weight per foot = Density × Volume per foot. Total gallons = Total lb / (lb/gal).
